Key Details

Immerse yourself in China’s innovation frontier as you explore the forces driving its rapid transformation. This journey spans two dynamic cities where imperial heritage and cutting-edge technology coexist.

Through 5 Academic Workshops and 4 Industry Visits, students engage in applied inquiry — from global tech leaders such as Xiaomi and JD.com in Beijing to drone and robotics innovation at DJI, and the future of mobility and smart manufacturing with GEELY in Shenzhen. Alongside expert-led sessions, they examine how technology, policy, and urban strategy turn ideas into scalable global impact.

This is not simply a company tour, but a field-based study of innovation in action — equipping students with analytical insight, cross-cultural awareness, and future-ready skills.

Academic Positioning & Learning Outcomes

Designed for ambitious students aged 16 and above, this programme positions China as a living laboratory of innovation, technology, and economic transformation. Through structured workshops and direct engagement with leading companies, students explore how engineering, AI, robotics, and digital ecosystems shape modern society.

  • Understanding of how innovation systems operate in real-world contexts
  • Insight into the relationship between technology, policy, and rapid urban growth
  • Application of STEM principles to industry case studies
  • Cross-cultural awareness within global technology networks
  • Experiential learning that connects classroom theory to on-site exploration

Students move beyond observation to critically examine how ideas scale from concept to global impact.
